From June 27 to 29, 2019, the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo was held in Changsha, Hunan.

The China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the Hunan Provincial People's Government. It is a new platform for the implementation of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum's economic and trade initiatives and a new window for local economic and trade cooperation. The Expo will be held every two years and will be located in Hunan for a long time. With the theme of “cooperation and win-win, pragmatic promotion of China-Africa economic and trade relations”, the Expo focuses on trade, agriculture, investment and financing, cooperative parks, infrastructure and other fields.

As an advocate in the field of green energy, Liyu Group is the only unconventional natural gas engine manufacturer in Hunan. Participating in this China-Africa economic and trade fair has yielded a lot of results. Not only has it seen the development opportunities for China and African countries to build the “Belt and Road” cooperation, but also the multi-channel and multi-dimensional access to resource information in the fields of energy, transportation and other infrastructure construction.

On the afternoon of June 28, Song Yanhui, secretary-general of the “Belt and Road” research center, accompanied Zimbabwe’s Minister of Commerce Saipana and his party to inspect the Liyu Technology Industrial Park. Wang Yuefeng, president of Liyu Group, gave a detailed explanation on the LY12V170 and LY16V170 gas generator sets independently researched and developed by the company, and led the delegation to visit the production and assembly of the park's natural gas distributed energy station and containerized gas generator sets. The Zimbabwe delegation gave high recognition to the achievements of the Liyu Group in the industry. Through the in-depth exchanges between the two sides, the friendship between Zimbabwe and Liyu was further advanced.

Zimbabwe’s Minister of Commerce Saipana said at the welcome dinner that night: “Thank you for the hospitality of Mr. Wang Yuefeng, the president of our old friend Liyu Group, let us feel what it feels like to be at home. I hope that the cooperation project will be promoted as soon as possible. Win-win and benefit the people."
